1 cup brown sugar .
1 cup sugar
1 cup butter
1 cup flour
½ cup chopped nuts
1 cup coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
½ tsp salt
2 eggs well beaten
1 tsp soda
4 cups oatmeal

Directions:
Directions:
Combine brown sugar, sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla. Mix with electric mixer.
Add coconut. Add dry ingredients. Mix well.
Depending on how big you like your cookies.....drop on cookie sheets and bake until golden brown. Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes.
If you like crispy cookies, let them bake a little longer.

These cookies are addicting. We always make them for long car trips or to take
along with us to horse shows. The coconut makes them a little chewy and so yummy.
