5 1/2 C to 1/2 C flour
3/4 C sugar
1 tsp salt
2 pkg yeast
1/2 C butter
1 C very warm water
3 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Combine ingredients and knead until smooth and elastic.
Let rise and divide into 2 parts, and roll each part out into a 9 x 14 rectangle.
Spread with soft butter, sprinkle with brown sugar, and sprinkle with cinnamon. May add raisins at this point.
Roll up into a 9" long log, and cut into 9 1" slices.
Repeat with other portion of dough. Place in prepared pan.

Prepare Pan as follows:
Melt 1 stick butter, and stir in 1 C firmly packed brown sugar, 1/2 C light corn syrup. head and stir until sugar is dissolved. Divide between two 9" square pans, and sprinkle with nuts (optional).
Let rise till doubled -- about 1 hour.
Bake at 375º 20-25 minutes.
Let stand a few mintues, then invert onto plate.
