2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup Crisco or Oleo
2 T vinegar
1 cup milk
1 ½ cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
Juice of 2 oranges
Orange zest
Icing:
Orange juice
Orange zest
¼ cup shortening
2 cups powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Add vinegar to 1 cup of milk to sour, set aside. Beat eggs and sugar together. Add shortening and milk. Add dry ingredients and mix. Add juice and zest, save some for the icing. Bake at 375° on cookie sheet until done.
Icing:
Mix powdered sugar with juice and orange zest to consistency to spread on cookies. The more rind you add, the better the cookies and icing are.
