1 lb butter
1 C sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp almond flavoring
4 C sifted flour

Cream butter, add sugar gradually, mix in eggs and flavoring. Mix in flour. Force through cookie press onto greased cookie sheet.

Bake 12 min at 375º

These are kind of a pain to make, since they require you to remember where you hid the cookie press. And the cookie press is often a little hard to clean. But they are most delightful little cookies, and since this is Grandma Bohnker's recipe, I wanted to include it, despite its slight difficulties.
