Big "O" Brownies Recipe

1 box German chocolate cake mix
2/3 C evaporated milk
1 C semi-sweet chocolate chips
2/3 C butter, melted
14 oz. light caramels
1 C pecans

Preheat oven to 350
Melt caramels with 1/3 C milk and set aside.
Combine cake mix, butter, 1/3 C milk, and nuts.
Pour 1/2 of batter into greased 13 x 9 pan
Bake 6 minutes at 350
Remove from oven, pour caramel mixture on top, and add chocolate chips in a layer.
Spread remainder of batter on top.
Bake 15-18 min.

This decadent dessert came from my dear friend, Debby Swan, who really knows her way around the kitchen. I suspect her husband, Richard, had a hand in making this one of their favorite recipes.
