1/2 c. cold butter in pieces
1-1/2 c. flour
1/4 t. salt
2 t. sugar
1 egg
2/3 c. semi sweet chocolate chips
2 qt. favorite type of berries
1/2 c. strawberry jam

Directions:
Directions:
Using a food processor or pastry cutter, cut butter into flour, sugar and salt mixture. When the texture of coarse meal, add 1 beaten egg. Mix and form into a ball. Press into an 11" pie pan or tart pan with fingers. Chill 20 min. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Prick shell. Press 2 layers aluminum foil against shell and bake 15 min. Remove foil & bake additional 10 min. til done.

Smear chocolate chips on bottom of pie crust. Place 2 qt. fresh berries in tart.
For strawberries: leave whole & press into chocolate with points up.
Glaze: Melt jam in small saucepan over low heat with enough water to thin. Brush on berries with pastry brush.
