2 1/4 cups unsifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda (make sure it is fresh)
1 tsp salt
1 cup butter, softened (use real butter)
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla (use Mexican, its stronger)
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, Ghirardelli
1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. In small bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside. In large bowl cream butter, sugar and brown sugar until light. Beat in eggs and vanilla until smooth. Grandually add flour mixture until combined. Stir in chips and walnuts. Drop by well rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Use airbake pans lined with alum foil. Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
