8 ounces Slivered blanched almonds 2 cups Sugar 1/2 cup water
Prepare large jelly roll pan with foil sprayed with pam.
In large nonstick skillet add sugar and water and stir with heat safe spatular ( not wooden spoon) heat and mix over med heat until golden in color remove from heat imediatley add almonds quickly stir and pour onto foil lined pan spread thin let cool completley
