1/2 cup slivered almonds
1/2 cup heavy cream, whipped

In a medium bowl, mix the sour cream, sugar and salt. Fold in the almonds and whipped cream. Chill in the refrigerator 1 hour or longer before serving.

I got this recipe from a former co-worker. It is the best dip for fresh fruit I have ever tasted. Slivered almonds are blended into a sweet, thick mixture of pure, creamy goodness.
