2 cups pumpkin pie puree
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup whole milk
2 T. bourbon or rum
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cloves

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. In a large bowl whisk together the pumpkin, sugar and eggs. Then whisk in the cream, milk, boubon, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, salt and cloves. Pour into prepared pie shell. Bake until the filling is set at the edges and a knife inserted nerar the center comes out clean, 40 to 50 minutes. Serve topped with whipped cream.
