Meatballs:
1 c. shredded apples
3/4 c. diced onion
1/4 c. Eggbeaters or 1 egg
1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
3/4 t. salt
1/8 t. garlic powder
1 lb. ground beef


Sauce:
1/2 c. sauteed chopped onion
3/4 c. red wine
3/4 c. water
6 oz. tomato paste
1/4 t. ground rosemary
1/4 t. basil

Directions:
Directions:
Meatballs:
Mix well and form into small meatballs. Broil on a rack turning when half done.

Sauce:
Simmer sauce while meatballs broil. Add drained meatballs. Serve over pasta.
