1 lb. ground beef
1 envelope taco seasoning mix
15 oz. chili beans
1 1/2 c. bisquick baking mix
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/4 c. very hot water
2 c. shredded colby-monterey jack cheese (8oz)
1/2 c. coarsely broken tortilla chips
Favorite taco toppings (shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, etc), if desired

Cook ground beef in 10 inch skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally; until brown; drain. Stir in half of the taco seasoning, the oil and hot water until dough forms; beat vigorously 20 strokes. Let stand 6 minutes. Move oven rack to lowest position.

Heat oven to 450º. Grease cookie sheet or 12-inch pizza pan. Pat or press dough into 13-inch circle on cookie sheet with hands dipped in baking mix; pinch edge, forming 1/2 inch rim. Or press in pizza pan. Spread beef mixture over crust; sprinkle with cheese.

Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until crust is brown and cheese is melted. Top with tortilla chips and taco toppings.
