Ingredients:  
1 lb. ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
½ cup chopped green pepper
2 cloves of minced garlic
1 14 ½ oz can tomatoes, chopped
1 15 oz can dark red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
2 to 3 tsp chili powder
½ tsp dried basil, crushed
¼ tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In a large saucepan cook ground beef, onion, pepper and garlic until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain fat. Stir in undrained tomatoes, beans, tomato sauce, chili powder, basil and pepper. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
