2 whole chicken breasts, cooked until tender in salted water
1 5 oz. pkg. egg noodles, cooked and drained
cup celery, diced
1/3 cup green pepper, chopped
1/3 cup onion, diced
tsp. salt
1 T pimento
1 cup mayonnaise
1 can cream of mushroom soup
cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
cup slivered almonds (optional)

Bone and cut chicken into bite size pieces. Combine chicken, noodles, celery, green pepper, onion, salt, pimento and mayo. Put into a greased 2 qt. casserole and set aside. Combine soup and milk in a saucepan and heat, stirring constantly. Add cheese and stir until melted. Pour over chicken mixture and combine. Bake at 425 for 15 min. Remove and top with almonds and bake 5 min. more. Serves 6
