¼ cup butter, softened
¾ cup sugar
½ cup chopped nuts
1 egg
1 2/3 cup Bisquick
1 cup dates, cut up

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350°. Grease and flour a square 9 x 9 pan. Mix butter, sugar and egg thoroughly. Stir in baking mix, dates and nuts. Spread in pan. Bake until light brown, 20 – 25 minutes; cool. Cut into 1 ½ inch squares. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top. Makes 25 squares.
