Ingredients:  
½ cup of butter (1 stick)
½ cup of sugar
2 eggs
½ tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
6 oz. toasted, chopped hazelnuts or almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Add to butter mixture. Add nuts.
Form dough into 2 loaves.
Bake at 350° for 30 min. Remove from oven and slice with serrated knife. Return to oven and toast both sides.
