1 cup raisins
1 1/4 cups water
2/3 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 cup rolled oats
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Boil raisins for 2 to 3 minutes, reserving raisin water. Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs, oatmeal and 9 Tbs. raisin water. Add flour, baking soda, spices and salt. Stir in raisins. Drop by rounded teaspoonful onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
