2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup sour cream or IMO
5 cups sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 cups broken walnuts
3 Tbs. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Cream 2 cups sugar and shortening. Mix flour, baking powder, salt and soda together and add to cream mixture. Add walnuts. Place on greased cookie sheet. If desired, press cookies with greased glass with 3 Tbs. sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes.
