1 egg, well beaten
2 lbs. ground hamburger
1 cup tomato juice
1 cup oatmeal
1 large carrot, grated
1/2 onion, grated
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. sage
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. pepper
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. dry mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all but last four ingredients together. Bake at 350 for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours. Combine the last four ingredients (brown sugar, ketchup, nutmeg and dry mustard) to form mixture. Drain grease off then top with mixture and bake for last 1/4 to 1/2 hour.
