No Bake Nanaimo Squares Recipe

1/3 cup margarine
1 egg
1/4 cup sugar
3 Tbs. cocoa
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/4 cup margarine
2 Tbs. vanilla pudding mix (not instant)
1 tsp. vanilla
3 Tbs. whipping cream
2 cups powdered sugar
1 Tbs. butter
3 squares unsweetened or semisweet chocolate (or mixture of both)

Bottom Layer: Beat 1/3 cup margarine,egg, 1/4 cup sugar and cocoa until creamy. Mix in 2 cups graham cracker crumbs, coconut and chopped nuts. Spread in buttered 9x12" pan. Chill

Second Layer: Combine 1/4 cup margarine, pudding mix, vanilla, whipping cream and powdered sugar. Beat until smooth and spread on bottom layer. Chill.

Top Layer: Melt 1 Tbs. butter and the unsweetened or semisweet chocolate and spread over vanilla layer. Chill at least two hours.

Cut in squares. May be frozen.
