2 ½ cups self rising flour
1 cup of buttermilk
1 ½ cup vegetable oil
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup or 2 1 ounce bottles of red food coloring
1 ½ cups of granulated sugar
1 tsp unsweetened coco powder
1 tsp white vinegar
2 large eggs
Frosting:
1/3 lb or 1 1/3 sticks of butter softened
10 ounces cream cheese softened
1 1lb box of confederate sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together all the ingredients with an electric mixer. Spray 3x9 inch round cake pans with no stick coat. Pour batter equally into 3 pans and bake for 20 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes. Combine frosting ingredients in a bowl and beat until fluffy. Carefully remove cake from the pan. Spread frosting between layers and on top and side of cake. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving. Serving size: 10-15 servings.
