1/2c. grated carrots (finely)
1/2 c. finely chopped celery
1c. water
2 tsp. chopped onion (fine)
1/4 c. butter
6tsp. flour
2c. milk
2c. chicken broth
1/2 lb. velveeta cheese (sliced)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook carrots and celery in boiling water until tender. Saute onions in
butter untill tender / not brown, Stir in flour , milk and chicken broth.
Cook on low heat until thickens, stiring constanley. Add cheese,
stir to blend, Stir in vegetables and cooking water.Serve topped
with chopped parsley . Makes about 6 cups.
