Ingredients:
Ingredients:
4 pt. of red raspberries (5 c. of crushed berries)
7 cups of sugar
1 box of powdered Sure Jell

Directions:
Directions:
Wash berries. Crush berries 1 c. at a time using potato
masher. Measure exactly 5 cups of crushed berries into 6 or
8 quart pot. Measure exact amount of sugar and place in
bowl next to stove.
Stir 1 box of Sure Jell into fruit in pot. Stir. Bring mixture to full
rolling boil stirring constantly. Quickly add in all the sugar and
keep stirring. When mixture returns to a full boil, boil exactly 1
minute. Remove from heat. Skim off foam.

Ladle quickly into hot jars. Fill jars to withing 1/8 inch from the
top. Wipe off tops and threads of jars. Cover with two-piece
lids and screw bands on tightly. Place in hot water bath,
covered with 1-2 inches of water. Bring to gentle boil for 10
minutes in you live in Oklahoma or Maryland, but 20 minutes if
you live in Montana. Remove jars from hot water and place
on large bath towel. Cover with another towel and let cool for
24 hours. The towels protects the jars from cool drafts that
might make them explode. After jars cool, press the middle of
the lid with your finger. If the lid springs back, the lid is not
sealed and consumption immediately is neccessary.
