1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs - beaten
1/2 cup orange juice
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 cup nuts (optional)
1 cup dates or raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the first three ingredients together. Slowly add alternatively the juice and flour. Add remaining ingredients. Spoon onto greased cookies sheet and sprinkle with sugar. Bake @ 350 for 10 minutes.
