2 eggs
1 15 oz. can pizza sauce (divided)
1 cup crushed saltine crackers
1/2 finely chopped onions
1/2 finely chopped green peppers
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
Dash of pepper
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 4 oz. can chopped mushrooms (drained)
1 1/2 cup small curd cottage cheese
1 tsp. parsley
1/2 dried oregano

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 1 egg & 1/2 cup pizza sauce. Stir in 1/2 cracker crumbs, onions, green peppers, garlic salt & pepper. Add beef. Pat 1/2 of mixture into a greased 8 x 8 x 2 baking dish. Mix mushrooms, 1 egg, crumbs, cottage cheese, parsley & oregano and spread evenly over the meat in pan. Top with remaining meat mixture. Bake @ 350º for 50 minutes, let stand for 10 minutes. In small sauce pan heat remaining pizza sauce & pour over the meat loaf.
