2 C. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped nuts - optional
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 C. shortening
1 C. white sugar
1 C. pumpkin
1 C. raisins or dates chopped up (optional)




Frosting:

3 T. butter
4 T. milk
1/2 C. brown sugar
1/2 c. powdered sugar
3/4 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the ingredients together, and drop on cookie sheet, Bake 350º for 10-15 min.

Frosting: Boil for 2 minutes stirring until cool and add powdered sugar & vanilla. Beat until smooth and frost cookies
