2 c. all puropse flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. fresh or frozen blackberries (if frozen do not thaw)
1/2 c. butter (room temp)
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. milk
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350º. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and mix well. Add flour, baking powder, salt and mix well. Add berries and stir to thoroughly combine. Add enough of the milk to loosen the batter up. It should be like muffin batter. Spoon batter into a greased and floured loaf pan. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack in the pan.
Serve plain or with butter and jam.
