3 apples - pared & sliced 1/8 thick
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 pinch salt
3 T. water
1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice



Topping:

9 T. flour

6 T. brown sugar

4 T. & 3 tsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Place the sliced apples in buttered Pyrex baking dish.

Sprinkle across the top of the apples the cinnamon, salt and water -- also lemon juice. Do each separately.

Make the mixture of the flour, brown sugar and butter until it resembles a crumbly mixture.

Sprinkle the mixture across the top of the apples.

Bake 375º 25-30 minutes or until the apples are tender and the crumbly topping is light brown.
