MIX TOGETHER IN A 1 QUART SAUCE PAN:

1/2 Cup Butter
1/3 Cup Molasses
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar

HEAT TOGETHER TO BOILING POINT

ADD:

1 1/4 Cup Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
1/3 Cup Nuts

MIX WELL, POUR INTO A 9X13 INCH PAN.

BAKE 350

ADD TOPPING:

1 1/2 T Butter
1/2 tsp Lemon Peal (Grated)
1 T Lemon Juice

ADD ENOUGH CONFECTIONERS SUGAR TO MAKE A SPREAD FOR THE TAFFY BARS.
