1 cup shortening 1 cup sugar 1 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 2 cups flour plus a dab extra 1 tsp. baking powder 2 cups rolled oats 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. cloves 1/2 tsp. ginger
Bake at 350º for 12 minutes. Raisins and coconut optional.
