1 1/3 cups butter-flavored shortening
2 cups sugar
1 cup brown sugar
4 beaten eggs
4 cups flour
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. vanilla (I also add more!)
1 tsp. salt
6 oz. milk chocolate chips
chopped pecans or macadamia nuts (if desired)

Cream together shortening and sugars, add beaten eggs, etc. Bake at 350º for 10 minutes. MAKES BIG COOKIES!
