2 lbs of salt pork
1/2 cup of flour
1/4 tsp of pepper
oil to fry

Directions:
Directions:
Slice the salt pork in 1/4 inch slices and place in a pan of water and bring to boil. Boil for 5 minutes to reduce the salt and drain. Rinse in cold water and drain. Season flour with the pepper and dredge the drained pieces in the flour and fry in an iron skillet until golden brown. Drain on paper towel and make cream gravy. Serve the gravy with bread or boiled potatoes.
