Shrimp with Pasta Recipe

2 T. butter
2 tsp. minced garlic
1 lb. Shrimp, peeled, deveined
1 med red bell pepper
1 med green bell pepper
1/2 c. dry white wine
1/2 c. cream
1/2 tsp. salt
pinch black pepper
2 tsp. dried basil
2 tsp. grated orange zest
8 oz. linguini

Start cooking pasta while preparing sauce.
In large saute pan heat butter, and garlic and shrimp. Cook until shrimp are just pink - about 1 min., remove. Add peppers and stir to coat with butter. Add wine and cook one minute on high heat to reduce volume to one half. Reduce heat and add cream, salt and pepper, stirring constantly. Reduce volume in half - about 3-4 min. Return shrimp to pan with basil and orange zest.

Drain pasta and add to sauce. Stir until well mixed. Serve on warm plates.
