1/2 cup sugar
2 T flour
3/4 tsp cinnamon
6-7 medium apples, peeled, cored, and sliced to equal 3 cups

1 - 9 inch pie shell

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour

Directions:
Directions:
Toss apples with the 1/2 cup sugar, 2 T flour and 3/4 tsp cinnamon. Heap into pie shell.

Melt butter and mix with 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup flour to make a thin paste.

Spread paste over apples, coating evenly. Place entire pie in a brown paper grocery bag and close securely with staples or paper clips. Bake in a 400º oven for 1 hour. Cut away bag when pie is done.
