Ingredients:  
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c flour
1 tsp. shortening
2 tsp. baking powder
milk (add enought milk to make stiffer than cake dough)
1 qt. fresh fruit plus 1 c. sugar
1 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first five ingredients to make dough and pur into 9X12 pan.
Mix fruit and sugar. Spoon on top of dough.
Pour 1 c. water over all.
Bake @ 375 for 35-40 minutes.
