2-1/2 cups whole wheat flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup powdered skim milk
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice, 1/2 tsp. freshly ground nutmeg, grated rind of 1 orange
2/3 cup corn oil
4 eggs
1 cup buttermilk.

Preheat oven 350º. Butter a 9x5 loaf pan. In a large bowl sift together all dry ingriedents including the powdered milk and brown sugar. Add the orange rind.Into the center of the dry ingredients add the well beaten eggs, corn oil and buttermilk . Mix well Pour batter in prepared pan and bake 45 - 50 min. or until cake tester comes out clean.
