Crust*:
1 c butter, softened
1 c powdered sugar
1/3 c sugar
1 egg
2½ c flour
2½ tsp baking soda
2½ tsp cream of tartar
½ tsp vanilla
½ tsp almond extract

Filling:
16 oz cream cheese
1 c powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Fresh fruits (ie: peaches, kiwi, berries, bananas, grapes, apples, mandarin oranges, pineapple)

Orange Glaze:
½ c sugar
1 c orange juice
¼ c lemon juice
¼ tsp grated orange peel
¼ tsp grated lemon peel
4 Tbsp cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Prepare crust by creaming butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add egg and flavorings and beat well. Add dry ingredients and mix until just blended. Divide dough in half and pat onto two pizza pans. Bake 12 – 15 minutes and cool. Meanwhile, whip cream cheese with sugar and vanilla and spread over cooled crusts. Arrange selected fruits over filling to completely cover the crust. Make the glaze in a small saucepan, by mixing cornstarch and sugar together, adding juices and stirring together well. Cook over medium heat until sauce thickens. Remove from heat, stir in peels and cool. Glaze fruit pizzas with sauce.

*Can substitute this cookie recipe with a packaged cookie mix. Snickerdoodle crust is also good.
