1/2 box brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. flour
1 T. vanilla
6 slices crystallized pineapple
1/2 lb. candied cherries
1/2 lb. butter
2 c. pecan meats (broken, not small)
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, then flour and
vanilla. Place nuts in bottom of pan. Place batter on nuts and
spread lightly. Place fruit, that has been chopped & mixed, on
top of cake batter and press into batter. Bake about 45 minutes
in 350º oven. When cake is cool, cut in squares and place in
tight container.
