1-1/3 cups sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
3 cups cornflakes
1 cup butter or shortening
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar (firmly packed)
2 unbeaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups shredded coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour once; measure, add baking powder and sift again; add corn flakes.

Cream butter (shortening), add sugar gradually and cream thoroughly. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla. Add the flour and corn flakes mixture, a small amount at a time, beating after each addition. Add the coconut.

Drop from teaspoon on ungreased baking sheet and bake in preheated 350° oven for 12-15 minutes.
