½ lb refrigerated fresh cheese tortellini
1 cup asparagus, cut into bite sized pieces
1/8 lb thinly sliced prosciutto, chopped
2 TBSP all purpose flour
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
1 ½ cup whole milk
1 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper

Directions:

Bring a large pot of water to boil.
Coat a large skillet with nonstick spray and heat over medium heat. Add the prosciutto and cook, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned, about 3 minutes. Remove and reserve the prosciutto. Dissolve the flour in the milk in a small bowl and then add to the skillet. Cook, stirring constantly until thickened, about 8 minutes. Meanwhile, add the tortellini to the boiling water and cook accordingly – stir in the asparagus during the last 2 minutes of cooking; drain. Remove the milk from the heat and stir in parmesan cheese and pepper. Add the cooked proscuitto and the tortellini and asparagus and toss to coat.
