1 c brown sugar 1 c white sugar 1 c shortening 1 c chunky peanut butter 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 2 c flour 2 tsp baking soda ½ tsp salt 1 c oatmeal
Cream together sugars, shortening, peanut butter, eggs and vanilla. Sift flour, soda and salt together in a separate bowl. Add to creamed mixture, then add oatmeal. Roll into balls and roll in a little white sugar, then flatten with the prongs of a fork. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
