4 Tbsp butter, divided
¼ c onion, finely chopped
½ tsp salt
Dash pepper
2 Tbsp flour
Milk
¼ c dry bread crumbs
2 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese

Directions:
Sauté onion in 2 Tbsp butter. Remove from heat and stir in salt, pepper and flour. Gradually stir in milk (recipe doesn’t specify how much, so I guess you just simmer and add milk to get consistency you like) and bring to a boil. Place cooked cauliflower in 1 ½ qt casserole and pour white sauce over all. Melt remaining butter and add bread crumbs and cheese. Mix and sprinkle over cauliflower. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20 - 25 minutes, or until top is golden.

Personal Notes:
This recipe is an oldy but goody. The other thing we had with regularity at this time was brussel sprouts..........
