1 c barley rinsed 2 Tbsp butter Slivered almonds 1 can chicken broth 1 can water Diced onion
Melt butter and sautÚ some onion, scoop them out and then brown the almonds, scoop out and drain. Place barley, broth and water, onion, and almonds in a casserole dish and bake covered at 375║ for 40-45 minutes.
