1 T oil
1/2 pound of bacon
1 lb chicken breast (chopped)
1 lb pork or beef ribs (cut in 1/2 an inch pieces)
1 cup cooked peas
1 cup grated carrots
1/2 T oregano
1 cup fresh salsa
Salt and pepper to taste
10 cups of water
4 cups of raw rice (washed)

Directions:
Directions:
Fry the bacon in a little oil. Take the bacon out and add the pork ribs and the chicken. Brown. Add the rice, carrots, peas, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3 minutes stirring frequently.
Add the salsa and cook for 5 more minutes. Add the water and mix. Let it boil until the water starts to disappear (around 30 minutes in medium heat). Cover and cook for 15 minutes in low heat.
Serve hot.
