1lb. brown sugar
1/4 lb butter
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
2 cups nuts
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups plain flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Cook sugar, eggs, and butter in top of double boiler until slightly thickened. Sift dry ingredients together and add to first 3 ingredients. Add broken nuts and vanilla. Pour in buttered or greased pans. Cook and cut into squares.
