Ingredients:  
1 cup butter,
1/2 cup confectioners sugar,
2 tsp. vanilla,
2 1/4 cup flour,
1/4 tsp. salt,
3/4 cup finely chopped nuts.
(use 1 tbsp. hot water if necessary)

Directions:

cream butter with sugar, vanilla and cream until thoroughly mixed. Add flour and salt. Add chopped nuts. Roll in to balls. bake at 400 for 10-12 minutes,
while the cookies are still warm, roll in xxx sugar
