PUFFS:
1/2 cup butter,
3 eggs,
1 cup boiling water,
1 cup flour.

CREAM FILLING:
1/2 cup sugar,
1/2 tsp. salt,
2 tbsp cornstarch,
1 tbsp. Softasilk,
2 cups milk,
1 tbsp. butter,
1 tsp. vanilla,
1 egg,
cake flour.

Directions:
Directions:
PUFFS: Stir flour in water while boiling. When taken from the stove, break in the eggs and then bake. Fill with filling.

FILLING: Mix in top of double boiler the sugar, salt, cornstarch and flour. Stir in milk. Bring to boil for three minutes. Remove from heat. Stir a little of hot mixture into one slightly beaten egg. Then blend into hot mixture. Place over boiling water and cook about 15 min. Blend in butter. Chill thoroughly. Blend in vanilla, Beat until smooth. Fill Puffs.
