1 cup sugar
1 quart milk
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla

Mix all ingredients together and bake at 350 for about 45 minutes.

This is Mema's custard recipe (Gracie Marie Jones). Anytime we were sick, this was our medicine. To this day I still want custare when I am sick.
