1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening (1/2 butter)
2 eggs
1/4 c. sour cream
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
3 very ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs. Add sour cream and combined dry ingredients alternately. Add mashed bananas. Stir in nuts. Bake in greased bread pan 9 3/4 x 5 3/4, 350 degrees, 50-60 minutes. Makes 1 large loaf. Remove from pan immediately after baking.
