Dice 1 large white or yellow onion,saute it in olive oil in the
bottom of your favorite soup pan.Dice up two carrots and
add those too.Season with salt and pepper,add two diced
cloves of fresh garlic.Clean and trim beans.cut green
beans into 1 inch segments leaving yellow wax beans
whole.Add beans to soup pot covering with just enough
broth or water to barely cover vegetables.season again.
Bring to a boil then drop down to a simmer and do
something else for a while.Not too long, about about 25
minutes later it's almost ready,Now,get some tongs out
and fish out all of those yellow beans.Drop them into your
blender,be sure to only get the yellow ones and no carrots
either so it doesn't turn to poo on you.Blend the yellow
beans with some of the liquid and onions from the soup pot
and a pat of butter until smooth and creamy looking.Add it
back to the pot,seasonto final taste ,and serve.
